GDPR INFORMATION CLAUSE

Background

In connection with the epidemic state introduced in Poland, we hereby provide you with the information clause on processing of personal data by Expo Silesia sp. z o.o. to prevent and combat the spread of coronavirus causing COVID-19.

Personal data are processed in compliance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27/04/2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (general regulation on data protection), (Official Journal of EU L 119, p. 1) – hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”

Pursuant to the obligation to inform referred to in Article 13(1) and (2) and Article 14(1) and (2) of the GDPR, in connection with the introduction of special procedures, Expo Silesia sp. z o.o., as the Controller, hereby informs as follows:

INFORMATION CLAUSE FOR PERSONS WHOSE PERSONAL DATA ARE HELD BY THE CONTROLLER

  1. The Controller of your personal data is Expo Silesia sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Sosnowiec, address: ul. Braci Mieroszewskich 124, 41-219 Sosnowiec, Poland, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court Katowice-Wschód in Katowice, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under the KRS number 0000252032, holding taxpayer identification number (NIP) 9591726258, with share capital amounting to PLN 1,227,000.00.
  2. You can contact the Controller by sending an e-mail to the following address: exposilesia@exposilesia.pl or by sending a letter to the following address: Expo Silesia spółka z ograniczona odpowiedzialnością 41-219 Sosnowiec, ul. Braci Mieroszewskich 124.
  3. Personal data is processed for the purpose of preventing, counteracting, limiting and combating spread of the coronavirus causing COVID-19 disease as well as protecting persons participating in trade fairs or other events held in the Expo Silesia Fair and Exhibition Centre in Sosnowiec against coronavirus infection, on the basis of article  9(2)(i) of the GDRP and for the purpose of trade fair organisation.
  4. Providing data is voluntary, however, in the event of a refusal to provide data, the participation in the event will be impossible.
  5. In order to achieve the purposes described above, your data may be made available to, among others, the following personal data recipients: -authorities and institutions (authorised to perform the Controller’s legal obligations to which it is subject) and other cooperating entities, only to the extent necessary for the implementation of their tasks as part of the cooperation with the Controller in connection with the COVID-19 epidemic.
  6. Your data will be processed by the Controller for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing, taking into account the requirements in this respect resulting from the binding legal regulations.

In particular, your personal data will be processed for the period of 14 days since the end of the Event (trades, conferences) unless it is necessary for the Controller to process the data for a longer period of time due to the vital interests of the data subject or legal obligations imposed on the Controller.

 

  1. You have the right to access the content of your data and right to rectify (correct) them. In the cases specified in the regulations on personal data protection and to the extent indicated therein, the Controller facilitate the exercise of data subjects’ rights to: – erase personal data; – object to processing of personal data – in the case of processing based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller;

– request the restriction of personal data processing; -obtain a copy of data or transmit them – if it is technically possible.

  1. If you have found that your personal data are processed in a manner contrary to the applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
  2. Your personal data will not be transferred to any third country or any international organisation.

10.Your data will not be subject to any automated decision-making (profiling).

INFORMATION CLAUSE FOR PERSONS STAYING IN THE EXPO SILESIA FAIR AND EXHIBITION CENTRE IN SOSNOWIEC WHOSE PERSONAL DATA HAVE BEEN OBTAINED FROM AN EXHIBITOR, TICKET PURCHASER OR OTHER PERSONS PARTICIPATING IN THE TRADE FAIR.

Pursuant to the obligation to inform referred to in Article 14(1) and (2) of the GDPR, in connection with the introduction of special procedures, Expo Silesia sp. z o.o., as the Controller, hereby informs as follows:

  1. 1. The Controller of your personal data is Expo Silesia sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Sosnowiec, address: ul.   3. The data processed are name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address, epidemiological statement.
  4. Your data have been obtained from a person buying ticket for you, an Exhibitor registering for the trade fair/event, another person registering for the trade fair/event or companies cooperating with the Controller.

    5. Personal data is processed for the purpose of preventing, counteracting, limiting and combating spread of the coronavirus causing COVID-19 disease as well as protecting persons participating in trade fairs or other events held in the Expo Silesia Fair and Exhibition Centre in Sosnowiec against coronavirus infection, on the basis of article  9(2)(i) of the GDRP and for the purpose of trade fair organisation.
